2018 African American Film Critics Association Awards

This week, I celebrated one final spin providing in-house photo and video coverage for the African American Film Critics Association red carpet and awards show.

Inside, I caught flicks of acceptance speeches by Jordan Peele, Frances McDormand and Ava DuVernay while simultaneously updating the IG Story audience in two separate Highlights, growing the account from 10.3K – 10.9K followers.

Sitting/crouching on the floor listening to Aunty Ava in Hollywood was an excellent way to spend a Wednesday night in Hollywood. I wish I hadn’t had an 8AM the next morning, but that didn’t stop me from attending the fist ever AAFCA Afterparty.
