Joy Ofodu is an influential media company offering inclusive entertainment and creative services. We believe in the healing power of humor, and deliver laughter to global audiences through video production, voiceover, and imaginative IP writing. We are proud to be Black-woman owned, Bay Area-based and undeniably funny.

Joy Ofodu produces two original shows: Dating Unsettled (weekly podcast, every Tues.) and Who Needs This (Snapchat Show, every Weds. and Fri.)

I’m a a silly storyteller + professional voice actor producing inclusive literary and digital artistic works. My community engages with @JoyOfodu to find joy in dorky stories and videos on Instagram and TikTok, where my videos have been seen and shared by over 30M eyeballs. Through my entertainment company, I’ve grown a highly-engaged community of more than 200,000 online daters and meditators in just two years. My followers are inspired by how I put my best bold self forward to empower underrepresented people.

MY WHY: I understand from my audience that the laughter and joy I inspire through my videos is revolutionary. To laugh and produce comedy is an act of resistance in a time where daters like me have not been safe, seen or validated.
