I’m Joy Ofodu!

Joy Ofodu is an influential media company offering inclusive entertainment and creative services. We believe in the healing power of humor, and deliver laughter to global audiences through video production, voiceover, and imaginative IP writing. We are proud to be Black-woman owned, Bay Area-based and undeniably funny.

Joy Ofodu produces two original shows: Dating Unsettled (Podcast) and Who Needs This (Snapchat)

I’m a a silly storyteller + professional voice actor producing inclusive artistic works. My community engages with @JoyOfodu to find joy in absurd performances mostly on Instagram and TikTok, where my videos have been seen and shared more than 60M times. Through my entertainment company, I’ve grown a highly-engaged community of more than 300,000 online daters and comedy lovers in just three years.

MY WHY: I understand from my audience that the laughter and joy I inspire through my videos is revolutionary. To laugh and produce comedy is an act of resistance in a time where daters like me have not been safe, seen or validated.
