Calypso Final – Spicemas Corporation Event
- “Calypso helps bring awareness to the general public about issues that otherwise might be overlooked and puts pressure on people to make changes. As expected, the songs express the artist’s strong opinions about timely and controversial topics. These songs are creatively crafted with catchy lines and humorous phrases that make Calypso music favorable amongst the islanders, being both educational and entertaining.” This year’s Calypso final takes place in Progress Park, St. Andrew.

- This is our official press trip welcome event. Mix and mingle with Government, tourism and cultural officials, and local media.
Bacchanal Friday – Groovy & Soca Finals – Spicemas Corporation Event
- “Soca Monarch is the annual soca music competition, the finals of which are held on Carnival Friday. Contestants in the event vie for two separate crowns or titles, the Soca Monarch (aka the Power Soca Monarch) for uptempo songs (135 bpm and above), and Groovy Soca Monarch for slower-paced songs (134 bpm and below). The Soca Monarch competition has become one of the most anticipated events for Grenada’s Carnival over the years.” Dress: Fun/casual/comfortable. Wear sneakers/closed toe shoes.

Pantastic Saturday – Panorama – Spicemas Corporation Event
- “Held on the Saturday before Carnival, the Panorama Competition is another significant feature of Grenada’s Carnival. Panorama is an annual music competition for conventional steel bands, where up to 100 musicians rhythmically beat their pan sticks against the steelpans to create infectious music that seems to fuel the desire to dance.” Dress: Casual

J’ouvert! / Jab Jab
- After Biggest White, we will head to the GTA office to change and prepare for J’ouvert (bring J’ouvert clothes that will be THROWN AWAY after the event omg trust me on this lmao)), and the jab essentials from your welcome bags).
- Meet up at GTA office at 8:30am to clean up. Bring change of clothes, moisturizer, etc.
