I love a good Afrobeats music festival – which can funnily enough become a professional networking opportunity.

At a previous festival, I asked to take a photo with the boys pictured including Zawadi and Julius Santwi just because they looked super fly as a group— then ended up connecting them with resources/exclusive invites to Meta programs for Black creators months later 🔥🔥🔥

Whatever happens this weekend at #Afronation I’m ready for🤩 The worlds biggest afrobeats festival, Afro Nation, is coming to Detroit on August 19th and August 20th! The festival will include artists like Burna Boy, Latto, Coi Leray, and my faves Davido (will be losing my voice at Aye) Cameroonian “People” superstar Libianca (who might steal my boyfriend’s heart) and Masego!
