I’ll show you.
We are the first #BlkGrlsInTheHouse 🏡 8 Black women creators from across the United States joined forces on Oct 06-09 in Los Angeles for a pop-up creator house.
On a social call months ago, when someone suggested we meet up in LA, I surfaced a long-held strategic idea I’ve had of gathering Black video creators for gifting and sponsored partnerships with our target brands and Black-owned businesses.
I knew we had to create the moments we wanted to be invited to.
What’s In My Bag, Bodyodyody Appreciation, Silent (Libation) Library, Game Night. I spent weeks curating programming from our teams’ crowdsourced ideas and then built a fire pitch with aggregated insights that Risachi Ogan and I started firing off to selected contacts I treasure at Meta , BÉIS Travel , Casamigos Tequila & Beloved Box.
The response was immediate, and affirmative. Almost everyone wanted in in every category.
Sheana Rivero did her big one – inviting the lovely Pardon My Fro to be our title sponsor, sharing my brand asset videography and Aspen Evans photography. They said YES and ensured every BLKGRL had lodging expenses covered. 💚🤎💜
Sierra Narcisse reached out to local Black chefs to ensure we were fed, and they privately and generously catered.
Everyone added their magic in some way, and I can’t wait to show you more.
