Don’t get me started on the talent involved in the making of this film, from Writer/Dir/Prod @jeymes who has been holding onto the idea since 2017 to @jayz to @teyanataylor to @mameanna_diop who the camera loved on so gorgeously and indulgently 😍

🇳🇬: Jeymes thanks for calling on Nigerian brothers and talents @davidoyelowo@b_olusanmokun1965@chidiajufo who show us that we CAN perform at the highest levels project after project. @ekabrefa 🇬🇭 had us in pins and stitches too! That monologue bro.

So many beautiful Black women and men involved and performing this wildly accented chariot ride 💀🐎 an African tapestry I won’t soon forget. Peep the mess of getting there with the girls in one place while I ate the biblical motif DOWN😂😂.

And on a footnote..

Personally, I didn’t find anything blasphemous in the film. Especially because of how each character is positioned. It offered a unique perspective that I think Christians will find thought-provoking. This film deserves to be seen. Give it a shot if you’re into exploring or just seeing the events of the Bible in a different light and in stunning tones.
