KPIX Bay Area Interview: AI and Voice Acting

I was recently interviewed by Shawn Chitnis at KPIX CBS News Bay Area about my work as a voice actor over the past few years in the Bay Area and LA.

We discussed how things have been impacted by the strikes, my resources like NAVA Voices, SAG-AFTRA, and independent filmmakers and game developers, like Jacob Kafka and The Sale-Off, and especially Blacktop Hoops VR — a game in which I voice a Nigerian baller, Paid Cash. We also had a great discussion about my thoughts on the CAA x Veritone announcement.

I’ve been speaking publicly about the integration of AI in Entertainment and Voice and On Camera acting performance — happy to chat about this anytime. We need to be extremely mindful about how emerging technologies impact our industry, accessibility and opportunity.

At the same time I can easily thank God for all the STEM and tech innovations that allow me to make my artist’s living mostly from home!
