Jacob Kafka hand drew and has been animating our 72-minute long, independent feature film, “Beverly Bunny and the Misdirected Mystery,” for the past three years.
Beverly Bunny was fully funded on May 23, 2024 after we hit our Kickstarter funding goal of $60,000 needed for completion.
“It’s about a sleepy bunny detective who can’t stay focused on the murder mystery she’s supposed to be solving, and keeps getting distracted by more mundane lower stakes mysteries. Very silly and whimsical and full of puns.”
I voice Harriett Halibut, an unwilling murder suspect. When I performed this role and read the script, I was already laughing. It is so moving years later to see that it is close to completion.
