I have the impossible job of conveying to you how beautiful and filling it was that my very specific childhood dream of starring in a Hollywood film came true!
On June 28, 2024, I was blessed to live it out on stage at the Academy of Motion Pictures Samuel Goldwyn Theater. This is just a glimpse of my castmates and I at the Hollywood Climate Summit sharing a screening of ASALI, an original indie animated adventure about a little bee facing a dangerous force. The animated film was directed and created by Maya Penn of Upenndo Productions and produced by Julius Tennon and Viola Davis of JuVee Productions.
I voice Posy the Butterfly in ASALI. After a successful preview in New York, my first animated film screening was a dream come true! I booked this as an independent artist the first week of announcing to the world that I was a voice actor in 2021.

ASALI follows a colorful group of pollinators and an environmental scientist as they unravel a trail of secrets to discover if they can save their home from a monstrous and deadly force.
After the screening, filmmaker Maya Penn moderated a Q+A session with the cast and crew, which was such a lovingly warm and conscious exchange.
