I know what you’re thinking! Joy – WHAT HAIR?! Though I had an amazing moment in August when I decided to make the big chop very real, there’s still enough for me to shampoo, condition and take care of daily.

My usual process is a shampoo maybe 1-2x monthly, but co-wash weekly or bi-weekly. I’ve never been particularly loyal to any kind of shampoo OR conditioner, but I like how this process makes me a bit more intent-ful about my shopping! What am I putting in my hair and why?

First, I took a survey about my hair and current patterns! I chose to:

• Prevent Thinning
• Define Curls
• Deep Condition
• Make my hair DEWY GLOWY GLOSSY
• Improve Scalp Health

The Formulate team was really responsive, followed up consistently and helped me troubleshoot an issue with my code/order with grace 🙂 Then the product arrived as promised and it felt like opening a little present!

My hair felt CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN after, and had a great glow. I haven’t been flaky since my first few washes, which is a wonder. But I’ll need a few more weeks to assess longer-term goals.
