I’ve chosen to give charitably to two organizations I’m extremely passionate about through my company, Joy Ofodu LLC: Evoluer House and Guyana Animation Network.
Below are messages from both of their founders! I hope hearing the impact of my gift inspires you also to give to these deserving causes.
Evoluer House
Dear Joy,
On behalf of The Evoluer House and myself, thank you for your generosity of a $500 donation to The Evoluer House. Your willingness to help underserved girls of color in our community has made all the difference for Evoluer program graduates like Sahara and Jennielee.
The Evoluer House proudly announces that these two alumnae have been named as valedictorians of their senior classes this year. Ranked No. 1 at her school, Sahara credits the personal development workshops for helping her to achieve this academic honor. Jennielee is also top in her class and says that Evoluer House helped her to realize her voice and reach beyond the stars. Here is a link to watch a CBS 3 News segment about her journey to achievement: https://youtu.be/PjvE9qzzeuw
These are just two Evoluer House graduates. There are hundreds more who are college-bound, career-ready and ready to take the lead every day. Your on-going support is transforming lives. We can’t THANK YOU enough.

GAN
Hello Joy,
Please accept our greatest thank you for your donation to GAN and for following through each step of the way.
On behalf of our team at the Guyana Animation Network (GAN) Inc. and GAN Studios, we would like to thank you Joy and Khoros for your generous donation. We look forward to using this funding to continue our work and support more young people interested in pursuing creative, artistic and technical fields in animation and digital media.
We enjoyed the opportunity of working with you to create opportunities for more creators and students from our programming to have their voices heard and language and culture represented on screen.
As a result of your generous donation, we were able to support 4 voiceover actors (3 young women and 1 male) from our community, who worked on a short animated client project. This was truly an enjoyable experience for each of them. Two of them were your past students, Mikhil and Fadelah, and the other two voiceovers were cast through a casting call. We relied on many of the techniques that you taught in class when we shortlisted candidates for this project. They all truly enjoyed the studio session which happened to be on the same day as our organisation’s 7th anniversary.
We most importantly hope that we can continue to support you in future engagements. We hope to have you again soon for another voiceover training which has since been in high demand.
