The stories I capture are different now... Sid jumped up to greet passerby and they instantly fell in love, like I did when I first met him 😍 This nugget sprang into action, met their dog, and found his forever home with them an hour later. Working with canines & families brings me peace, and feels like a blessing. People enter the shelter and their lives change. Can’t wait to adopt a dog someday..☺️✍🏾

✨ Working to build a work life I don’t need a vacation from. Conferring with Black & Latinx marketers, unlearning the things we were told we couldn’t do.. that helps. We’re young, and we’re doing it, and we’re changing the way these platforms work for our people. Strategically. Surely.

When I was in the fourth grade, I was asked what I would change about myself, if there was just one thing. I wrote “I wish my lips were smaller.” I take that back.

Choose your health: this was the biggest mistake I made during my time at USC. I put what I was doing and my aspirations above my own well-being, until I couldn’t do anything anymore. 😔 I couldn’t get up out of bed. I was forced to start listening to my body. Workaholism and perfectionism is no longer cute. 🙅🏾‍♀️❌🤢Team No Sleep can have its jersey back. I come first, and so should you.

It was so sweet to be the season finale voice on @generationslay and talk about everything that has shaped how I show up online. From being a huge MMORPG geek to a #Blerd to a dark-skinned woman... I’ve had to make discoveries of like minds and build up protective armor just to navigate as an Internet Explorer in peace 😂 The Internet was not designed to protect or promote people like me. I can fix that. 🤓😉

Oh! Just before I took off on this New York trip, helped coordinate the appearances of our ambassadors in DC in New York, and fell back in love with the future: I shot the annual Adopt-a-Thon for the @eastbayspca in Oakland! 81 animals were adopted 🎉 It’s such a good feeling to see the canines we volunteer and work with go to loving, new homes. #eastbayspca #adoptdontshop
