I was honored to be invited by Liz Heit and Evoluer House founder Cheryl Wadlington to speak to their girls!

The Evoluer House was also recognized by Honorable Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, for 11 years of service to young urban girls.
Our missions and audiences align so well that it was super easy to participate in a one-hour Q&A with this group. I tried to break down what I do and hope to do in the world in a way that teen-me would have understood and appreciated. Speaking to students is super laid back and lower-stakes in comparison to my regular workflow, so it’s always a welcome interruption to my week or weekends.
I love that by speaking, I can break down the barriers to success that Black girls experience.
