I’m passionate about healing through humor. I’m a professional voice actor and content creator reaching millions of people who love to laugh. 

OOH YES: Nigerian culture, Igbo isms, photography, dating, relationships, mental health, theatre, film and television, Rihanna, Drake, memes, non-profits, big brands, promoting diversity in media, flowers, Spanish, Snickers

OOH NO: ants, war, peanut butter, ketchup, birds that fly too close, poor parking jobs (usually mine), overpriced anything, unnecessary clutter, the sound a straw makes when it scrapes styrofoam

I’m working on comedy content including an original podcast (Dating Unsettled), film (Heart of Sunshine), voiceover and more. My clients included Spring Fertility, Monarch Money, the NFL, LinkedIn, Disney and more this year! I also lend my voice to video games, national ads and others’ films. 

My bio

As the CEO of Enjoyment Endeavor, Joy’s dynamic and charismatic presence has captivated millions worldwide through her imaginative voiceover work in children’s and adult animation, games, and commercials, as well as her podcast Dating Unsettled. As a filmmaker, she has written, directed and starred in a comedy short film, “Heart of Sunshine” coming to festival theaters and screens in 2026, and is currently developing a number of digital series and films, ranging from dating comedy to African fantasy. With a dedicated community of over 350,000 online followers and collaborations with top brands like Disney, Dove, Netflix and Philo, Joy remains dedicated to her mission of activating the unique healing power of humor.

My Background

I’m a proud alumna of the University of Southern California c/o 2018, Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business (c/o 2021), USC African American Cinema Society and Annenberg Inclusion Initiative.

During my days as a USC student, I started blogging about my encounters with directors, producers, and actors. I’m proud to have international follow-ship of my antics.

I began my corporate career at Instagram in 2017-2018. Prior to that, I worked on brands including Facebook, Star Wars, thredUP and the NAACP Image Awards. Here’s a roundup of me/my evil doings in the press.

With over 16 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Reena is a Talent Manager at John Carrabino Management. Her mission is to support and advocate for emerging BIPOC actors who wish to establish themselves within the competitive Hollywood marketplace, as well as working alongside A-list talent with impressive accolades and awards. She has a keen eye for discovering talent, storytelling, and the zeitgeist of current popular culture. She aims to create meaningful and worthwhile creative projects that encourage girls and women to aspire to their full potential.

Donnita Shaw is a social media maven, who loves soaking up trends, and oftentimes (even by mistake), starting some along the way. With over seven years of professional experience as a social media manager under her belt, she has gained some deep insight into content creation and an understanding of digital content ideation and development. Also within entertainment development, Donnita helps to develop writers and teach them about the entertainment industry and so much more. In her free time, she’s writing a thriller feature, a romcom TV pilot, brunching or a combination of all three!
